LeBron James Credits Fan for Triple-Double as He Leads Lakers to Victory Over Raptors

LeBron James has a knack for rising to the occasion, and he proved it once again on Sunday night against the Toronto Raptors. Not only did he notch his 115th career triple-double, but he also got a little help from a fan in the stands. The fan, apparently in the midst of a parlay bet, yelled out to LeBron, urging him to grab just one more rebound. LeBron responded by pulling down the rebound and pointing to the fan as a way to acknowledge his contribution to the milestone.

In addition to the triple-double (19 points, 10 rebounds, 16 assists), LeBron took charge after Anthony Davis left the game with a left eye injury. With Davis sidelined, the Lakers were down by three, but LeBron stepped up, leading the team to a 123-103 victory. His all-around performance—scoring, playmaking, and defense—helped secure the win, as he carried the team in Davis’ absence.

D’Angelo Russell, who had a solid performance himself, praised LeBron’s leadership. “He’s just dominating the game from every cylinder, from assists, rebounding, passing, leading,” Russell said.

It was a night where LeBron proved yet again why he’s one of the best to ever do it, not just in terms of stats but in his ability to take control and lead when it matters most. And, of course, it didn’t hurt that the fan’s timely shout helped him complete the triple-double!

Now, with Davis’ injury raising questions about his availability, LeBron and the Lakers will be hoping to continue their undefeated home streak when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.
